Sage is a producer and story-teller based in Montreal. She is from an Ojibwe-Anishinaabe and Settler Canadian family who have come from islands and water for generations. In 2019 Sage co-produced Indigenous Contemporary Scene at the Edinburgh Festival trifecta and is currently developing a new project with the National Arts Centre’s Indigenous Theatre Department. She has recently become totally obsessed with reclaiming her ancestral ways of crafting, leaving a trail of beads and fabric scraps everywhere she goes. Sage’s work is a motion to honour the gifts and teachings that those before her have offered and is created with the voices of future generations in mind.
